У нас НЕТ списка заданий эссе и мы НЕ знаем какое эссе и точная тема будет у вас на экзамене. У создателей IELTS огромный список заданий, который постоянно обновляется и которого НЕТ в открытом доступе.

Некоторые задания эссе повторяются. Например, год назад было такое задание на тесте, и такое же задание попалось мне на экзамене спустя год. В сети можно найти ТОЛЬКО те задания эссе, которые пишут сдавшие тест студенты по памяти, меняя слова и, зачастую, с ошибками.

Итак, мы НЕ знаем точных заданий и формулировок. Имейте в виду, на экзамене, лично вам, может выпасть всё что угодно.
Официального списка заданий эссе нет и не будет.

Examples of IELTS essay tasks according to some of these topics:

AI/Computers
Some scientists think that computers will soon become more intelligent than humans. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Education
Some people think that students should learn a range of practical skills at school (such as car maintenance or managing money) alongside traditional subjects like maths and physics. Do you agree or disagree with this view?

Mass Media
Some people think that when many imported films or TV programmes are shown in a country, it can improve the country’s culture. Others feel that it is better for a country to make and broadcast its own movies and TV shows. Discuss both sides and give your own view.

Sport
Some people think that dangerous extreme sports such as rock climbing and sky-diving should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

Environment
Many people continue to use cars and motorcycles even though they know that they are bad for the environment. Why is this? What can be done to reduce the use of these vehicles?

Water pollution has become an increasing problem over the past few decades. What causes water pollution? How can we prevent this problem?

Sociology
Many parents put a lot of pressure on their children to succeed. To what extent do you agree?
Most societies are based on rules and laws. If individuals were free to do whatever they wanted, society could not function. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Tourism
Many developing countries place a lot of importance on tourism. Why is this? Do you think that this is a positive or negative development?

Aging Population
In the future, there will be a higher proportion of older people than younger people in many countries. Why is this? Is this a positive or negative development?

Learning Languages
People who are learning a foreign language can face a number of difficulties. What are some of these problems? In your opinion, what are the best ways to overcome these difficulties?

The Elderly/Health
Doctors recommend that older people exercise regularly. However, many of them do not get enough exercise. What are the reasons? What can be done to encourage them to exercise more?

Crime
Some people believe that criminal behaviour has genetic causes. Others believe that it is circumstances that lead people to commit a crime. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Advertising
A lot of research has shown that overeating could have some negative effects on the body. Some people therefore believe that the advertising of certain foods should be banned in the same way that some countries have banned advertising cigarettes. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Food/Diet
It is universally accepted that eating too much sugar has negative effects on people’s health. Therefore, some believe that governments should control the amount of sugar people consume. Others think that it is the responsibility of an individual to control their sugar intake. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
